CBSCA 2026 Scholarship Application Requirements

Eligibility

To apply for a CBSCA scholarship, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Be employed by a CBSCA member company, or
  • Be a child of an employee of a CBSCA member company, or
  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate industrial distribution degree program
     

Additionally, applicants must:

  •  Be pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited four-year college or university
  •  Be taking at least six (6) credit hours in the upcoming school year
  •  Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • High school seniors are eligible if they have been accepted to an accredited four-year college or university
  • College seniors are eligible if they are enrolled in a 5- or 6-year undergraduate program
     

Application Materials

Along with completing the online scholarship application form, applicants must submit the following supporting materials:

  • Essay, 500 words, one page, Topic: Describe something meaningful that you learned from another person and explain how it changed the way you see the world or approach life.
     
  • Transcript: Current transcript from your school.
     
  • Letter of Recommendation: From a principal, dean, department head, or instructor.
     
  •  Addendum Page: Signed by both the student and a parent or guardian.
     

Additional Guidelines

  •  Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
     
  •  All submitted information will remain confidential and used solely for scholarship evaluation.
